Welcome to Barn Cycle Repairs

Hi, I’m Stewart, I have been repairing and servicing bicycles for over 30 years and opened up a new workshop in 2022 in Leicestershire, serving Melton Mowbray and its surrounding villages.

Having lived in the Scottish Highlands for 10 years, literally on the side of a mountain, I found time to do a lot of mountain biking back in the 90’s when the sport was young. In my time there I worked in cycle shops as a mechanic for nearly 15 years, servicing and repairing what must have been thousands of bikes over the years.

Since returning to Leicestershire, I continued to repair and service friends’, families’ and the local communities’ bikes before opening my new workshop in Nether Broughton serving Melton Mowbray and its surrounding villages.

I am happy to work on all types of bikes including road, mountain, city, childrens’ and E-Bikes (excluding electronics).
